Any '63-'72 C10 owners got airbags on the rear? What typically are you running for PSI in the back while driving? -David
lots of good info found here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=1
I had a f1 ford on a 67 chevy truck frame.. does that count? as I recall the pressure was wayyy low on the rear.. and WAYY high up front.. I made my own mounts and stuff..
I've got a 67' Chevy that's bagged. I'm also running dropped spindles in the front and a different rearend with a c-notch. At ride height, I run 85-90 psi in the front and around 45 psi in the rear. Hope that helps.
Thanks... It's going to go up for sale pretty soon. Too many projects and not enough time to even enjoy this one. I've never had a vehicle that has attracted so much attention. I think it's the baby blue and white. You either love it or hate it.
Ok thanks. Between 40 and 50 psi seems to be a good right height for me. I've still got a couple things to install before I can drive and check it out. When fine tuning for optimal ride, is it generally just a few psi one way or the other? Get it to where ride height looks good then +/- a couple psi?
I think the front rides a little stiff at 85-90. There's not much difference in 5 psi. If I could get it set at the same ride height but with lower pressure, I think the driveablility would be better. 4-way would be nice too.
