Ok, so... I have to get rid of this pretty quickly. The parents are starting to get annoyed by it sitting there. I dont have much on the car. Gave the wiring harness to my brother for his birthday, so he can get his 59 f100 on the road. I will list the things I still have for it.

    All trim pieces for outside.
Trim pieces for inside. (have most, if not all)
Original front and rear seats. (need to be redone/ dont have metal for bottom of front seat)
223 inline 6 (was running when pulled from 2 door/ have video to prove it)
steering column ( brother messed with it, so I dont know if anything is missing. No steering wheel though)
body is mostly straight except where I was rearended.
    Fenders are good
    Headlights already spoken for
Radiator for inline 6 (should be flushed)
Ford o matic trans (not sure on condition since I only drove it maybe 4 miles)
    Automatic floor shifter as well
    Drive shaft
    Front bumper
    Grill is spoken for
    Radio is spoken for
Also have another y block intake. 2 barrel (it has a carb with it, just not sure what kind)

I'm not really sure on prices right now, I'll have to look into the prices and shipping will be hard if you arent close. Shoot me offers if you see anything you are interested in. Trades will be considered, just let me know what you have.

    Thanks everyone,

    Rocky

I need the trim pieces on the B pillar between the front and rear doors that runs underneath the window.

On both sides? Are you talking about that little bitty trim piece that's like an inch big?

Anyone interested in a rolling shell? Will sell car minus dash, headlights, and hood hinges.( I know hinges are expensive, so im holding on to them just in case) Car will come with original front and rear seats. Need to be redone though. No other interior. If nobody wants it, I'll just take what I wanna keep and s**** the rest. Body is fairly straight. Pics in my profile. Back seat floors appear solid. Fronts have rust holes. So its pretty much good for back gl***, doors, and sheet metal. Asking 300. Also have the 223 inline 6 still and the Ford o matic. Will throw both in for another 150? I will never use them. I like this 3 on the tree too much. Let me know if anyone wants it or needs anything. Thanks fellas!

I know they changed the frames in 54, I think the mounts are more to the front, and the distrubter is forward also. I was just wondering. just replaced my worn out 115 with a another one, thats running great. but there is a 302 in her future anyway.....

Lanny Haas The 53 215 6cly has the motor mounts at the front of motor with oil filter in the middle of block. The 54 223 6cly has the motor mounts in the middle of block with the oil filter at the front. The previous owner of my 54 had bought it without a motor. He bought and rebuilt a 6cly for the car only to find out he had a 53 motor. He had to make adaptors for motor mounts so it could work and relocate the oil fiter. But with out the front steadfast mount it vibrated terribly. 54 ford has a different frame from a 53. So to fix the problem.........I put a CHEVY 350 in it. ( I have the rebuilt 53 6cly and a 54 rebuild 223 that I was going to install in car.I might put them on craigslist in January if I dont sell them at Turlock swap meet.)

I need both fenders if they are not spoken for already. Also all the radiator support pieces are something I'm interested in too. I'm interested in the hood support and inter fenders too.

You may not want to send the old steering box to s****,one supplier has the core value at $180.When you drop the box you have to pull the steering wheel and jack the car up high to pull the box and shaft out the bottom

Jeff, I am thinking about keeping the front end to make a bar out of, so I'll take that box out. Thanks for that tip though!

    Rocky ,
Is the trunk back half good enough to make a couch out of ? That would match the bar !

Hahaha a guy at work asked/suggested the same thing! Its a little bent up, but nothing that wouldn't help me learn a little body work. I'd really like to do that.

    You guys are an inspiration!

Last September or October, I posted about parting out a beat up, rusted out ol' 54 that I have too but ran out of time to get back to it before winter. I'm keeping a "strip list" and when I get time to get back to it I'll post some more here in the group.

I like the idea about the trunk couch too, but I don't think there's enough solid steel left in mine to make one.

Been a pretty ****py week, and to top it off I got a letter from the city tellin me I gotta get rid of the car. So this weekend will be dedicated to barrett jackson car auction and taking parts off that people need. Car goes to the junk yard Tuesday. So last and final call....

Holy ****, 54HotRod, what have you been doing to that poor car? I remember you having water pump problems and then discovering that the workmanship in the car wasn't what you expected, but what's with needing new fenders and floors?

Maybe you need to buy a camera and start a build thread so we can keep up with what's going on wi'chu? Sounds serious.

54, you gonna come get all this stuff? Shipping it will cost a fortune. Let me know ASAP, cuz tomorrow the first three feet of sheet metal will be cut off the car and converted into a bar. I have the bar drawn up already. Plywood placed into the opening with a hole cut out to drop a sink in. Then gonna wrap the wood in red metal flake vinyl. Four steel wheels will be the base for it with metal, heavy duty castors bolted to where the lug nuts go in the bottom wheel (for rolling it). Planned to start it tomorrow, so let me know. Otherwise, I'll be having a lot of fun!
