Boy, I'm tellin' ya'! What a steal! Updated to ball joints and complete with drivetrain. Can't beat it as a starter car! Let's hope the new owner finds us so we can tell him how he should build it!
If I wasn't half way round the frkin globe I'd be grabbing it , oh whats that noise I can faintly hear?... ah the wifey reminding me I need to finish her car first ! . merry Xmas you lot !
dropped to 6oo bucks! say what!!, First that cool merc jeff posted up, now this cool ford. where were these rides when i was on the market. I hope it gets a nice sensible new owner lol. If i had the money i would get that car just because
I can't believe it's still not sold ! That is a down and out steal for everything that comes with it . Damn it's a VICKY ! Congrats & Luck with your new addition and teach them well about theses old cars ! Jim
Unbelievable it isn't gone yet. If I had time I'd be calling 'road trip' and get out there and pick it up just because. Man, a 2 door hardtop for $600. Unbelievable.
You're spoiled, 53vicky. There's every chance the hardtop wheel openings were trimmed to eliminate rust in the area...but you CA guys don't know about that. Replacing the lower quarters and rear fender openings is pretty much standard procedure for the rest of the country...
An F.E. is a fairly EZ swap and with very little effort they make tons of tire shredding torque, some healthy slicks will fit in those wheel wells,I'm thinking period correct "G***er" for a fun factor.Oh,by the way there is a " clean out the storage shed" deal on Phoenix craigslist for a 427 FE around $600 clams
I gotta quit looking at these cars. I'll end up with a yard full of them. This car is a real steal. Great starting point for any build for the perfect price.
Well its interesting reading through this thread . When I posted the link I figured that maybe one or two would be interested because to me (remembering I'm not in the good ol US of A) at 600 dollars it appeared like legalised theft. Seems y'all agree .... AND I'd be willing to bet that it is a whole lot less rusty than the rotten **** we have to rebuild down here !
Ok which one of you guys is pulling our legs down here..... With the aussie dollar so good $6000 bucks seems to good to be true... has anyone on here know if its got a ***le????
hey u guys i ended up with this 52 vicky, a customer bought it and then came by my house and ended up buying my chopped 53 chevy... i just was donated a 90's 302 block for it and am picking up a c4 for it soon.. any help on nick nack parts would be great..i have a small shop in stockton,ca Fat daddy Kustoms.... so its probbly going to get a bag treatment and some molding if i keep it... right now 750 for it with the 302 would be nice
hey fat daddy congrats ! i was watching it on craiglist and almost called to buy it when it hit $600 but got four other projects going on, paper work thing seemed kinda sketchy howed that turn out? and did it come with the windsheild??if not i have one for a 54 ford if it fits and some other 54 odds and ends im up the road by sacramen to airport
lost hope.... hit me up i need alot of stuff....paperworks no big deal i have a guy that takes care of it for me. no windshiled came with it... but im after some clean fenders and a front splash.... i need a radiator support too... either im missing some fillers or the wrong ones in it
