Well Santa got me the Movie Bullitt for me since that is one of the few car flicks I didn't have and some cash to put away for a carb I really want that I am saving up for .

My best Santa present I got was 4 years ago and was the greatest gift a car guy could ever want and need from his loving Santa wife !
My wife had a 24' x 24' garage with concrete floors and 2 overhead doors and a side door build for me in July as an early Christmas gift for many years to come ! She said don't expect any Christmas gifts from me for a while ! I was so damn happen to have my Damn Garage Man Cave to park and build my hotrods in rain or shine ! No more laying in the driveway wondering on when the thunder storms would come and wondering if I have enough time before we get . Also no ore what do I do if I don't finish the job that dad and there are parts laying all over the place for anyone to steel . I thank her everyday I work out there in the garage for not having to clean up what I started on and can leave it all sitting there knowing it will be there the next day !
I really have a great car wife and she is really good to me . She know what it means to me to get the car built and having a place to build one in . I couldn't be any happier with my special Santa and she is all mine to keep !
She also took me to Sears when the garage was build because I want a tool box to have so I could put my tools in . There were the Blue Sears boxes on sale one weekend and I had the money for it so she took me down . I got the upper box and lower roller cabinet but didn't want a middle box because I could see to get into the top box . I got the 10 drawer top box and the 7 drawer lower box and this was the drawers with the roller bearings that slide no matter how heavy they are . Well I got that set on sale for $279 !
So she asked what else did I need , I told her my next item I will save for is a nice chair with back for working at the bench , a big vice , a small stool with rollers when working on the side of the car , a 20 gal air compressor and a couple other things I needed . She said , "Do you want another Christmas presant for a lot more years , so I said YES !
Well I got the compressor and it came with the Craftsman air tool set for free ! Got the impact , air ratchet , air chisel , hose and something else but can't remember but it was all FREE ! I got the chair for the bench work , a stool with wheels for sliding around the bottom for the car when doing low worth on the car , bought me a set of jack stands that were the bigger sizes , a big vise , a big Sears Vac and some other hand tools I could use . She has just about set me up with most of all the tools I needed to get started with plus !
So I have to say I have the BEST Damn Wife any car guy could ever ask for ! I wouldn't trade her in for the love of money . She's good to me and I am the luckiest man alive to have such a great wife !
Now she's not the one to get her hands cut up and greasy helping me build the car but when it comes to certain things I need help with the interior and things like that she will help .
She does want to put some special touches on the back trunk . She can draw very good I must say so there is something she is going to paint on the back with an air brush set up I bought for her to use . It's the cars name ans some graphics she has in mind since the day I bought the car .
Sorry for the long story but I am a very proud man to have such a great understanding wife when it comes to my old cars !
Anyway there is my Special Santa Gift from a Very Special Wife of 27+ years !

Yes, nothing like new chrome, it looks really nice.

I got my Energy Suspension swaybar bushings for the '56, 'Santa' (FedEx) showed up late Friday with them so I'll try & get the bar replaced over New Years weekend.

And I got a nice littel iPod portable music player that really kicks out. Small enough to hide under the seat but loud enough listen to while at shows.

My wife Santa got me a Black and Decker battery charger/booster that I picked out and acted real surprised when I opened. Got myself the '55 Customline and had a good father son experience retrieving it.

Does any of your wives or friends want to teach my wife how to buy that stuff for me? Chrome, upholstery, gl***packs, concrete floors, door seals, carpet set, battery charger, and then there is Retro Jim that hit the fricken lottery and all I got was socks and underwear..... I had to buy the lifter and stuff myself!!!! Anyone wanna trade a wife? Low mileage, original equipment, doen't smoke, does have a miss fire sometimes, slightly lowered, great bumpers! With a little fixup and detail work... ready for shows!

Nothing too major, got a new 90 degree peep mirror to replace the shaky old peep mirror that was falling apart. Also got a new Sunpro triple gauge set to replace the junk that's currently installed.

And I got the 25th anniversary set of Goonies. :)

Geno, send pics of wife and may work something out. Socks and underwear not required in the deal, but will increase trade chances. Mine comes with baggage though, 19 month old twins and an 8 yr old. Baggage is non-negotiable in the deal.

Nothing for the Ford, but the girlfriend renewed my subscription for Street Rodder. I'm not the street rod type of guy, but there are usually some really great "how-to's", etc..
AND she scored me a 90th anniversary fully autographed Green Bay Packers football!!! I think I'll keep her!
