OK, I've been hanging around and talking about getting together with some Houston HAMBERs long enough. I think we should have some kind of gathering. So, here it is: By all the power vested in my by the State of Texas... I declare the third Tuesday of every month cruse night for Houston HAMBERs. We will gather after work at the West Alabama Ice House. Ifn' you need directions: It's on West Alabama Street between Montrose and Shepard, and it has been there since 1928 or so. Tuesdays are dead there so there will be plenty of room to park your *****en hot rod (or in my case truck) right in front, or on the side of the place. The first cruse night will be this coming Tuesday, the 15th...because that works for me! Then every third Tuesday night after that until there is no more gas left on earth! OFFICIAL TIME: 6:30 p.m. at the West Alabama Ice House I'm going to be there by 6:30 p.m. next Tuesday, the 15th. I'll probably hang out for a couple of hours or so, depending on turnout and level of intoxication. Just show up to this one. No problem. The rain screwed the whole thing up. I did get to meet Jabber, cool dude, and heard all about how he used to keep a local tattoo artists car runnin in exchange for a few tats. I'll try to set the whole thing up again next Month.
I'll make next month..I made it to Flagsaff AZ this afternoon.Did a lot of route 66 thingie...Going to Prescott tomorrow..and then onto Goodguys...15 degrees here tonite...Brrrr
