What does this say about HAMBers?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by adjustablejohnsons, Dec 20, 2005.

  1. If you use Google, when the results are returned, there are sponsored links down the right side of the screen. These links are usually related to your search term. If you Google the term "HAMB" the sponsored link is always a sex related site (unless you have safe search enabled). Whatthe????????????????????? Google has sold space to sex sites based on demographic research of the average HAMB user? I guess I'm busted.

You're right. Not only can you get "clean, smooth girl parts" (Damn, they must be billet!), but there is some poor sucker named Hamb that's an assistant professor of library science. Wonder what kind of mail he gets?

I think they're just putting all the anti-social elements in the same bucket, so the department of homeland security can round us all up at once...

Yeah well- at least your name isn't the same as a female porn star from Ireland.

Do a google search on "Jay Sweet" and see what pops up...

Just so you guys know. Those sponsored links (ads) down the right side of a Google search page aren't generated by demographic profiling or anything so sophisticated. They're just linked to specific keywords, and the keywords are submitted by the advertiser. Having worked in that depatrment at Google, I also know that porn sites especially submit lots of unrelated keywords...

There's a Print Screen key. It's above the Insert key.
