Well, it's been about two years since I posted pictures of some of the goings on here at the Street Rod/Custom Fab program at WyoTech (Laramie, WY).
I tried to group the pictures in some basic catagories. Please feel free to ask questions about anything you see or leave suggestions/words or wisdom/encouragment to our students. They will be graduating from this course on Friday.

this next group are fuel tanks, some are moon style, some motorcycle and one for a '62 Lincoln.
Everything was fabbed from flat sheet and not made from a modified existing tank.

this group is of some sheet metal fab.
I think most of you will enjoy the Model T coupe panels. That car was half burried in the ground.

do you say that because the two main vehicles in their promotional material and on their web site were actually built at WyoTech?

Well, that brings back some memories. I can't believe someone actually chopped a '62? Comet 4 dr. The last chop pics of that Chevy look real nice, that roof flows very well.

I would never have never picked a comet 4 door to chop but it came out very well. The back glass will be stock, the windshield cut and the side windows are flat so it should get wraped up shortly.

The '53 Chevy has got to be one of the best we have done. The back window is out of a '50 Chevy. They also got all the garnish finished and the interior reinstalled.

That car is a 1930 American Austin Coupe. It was actually always a 2 door and it is tiny as hell. I need to get a pic with a normal sized person standing next to it.

I went to school there right out of H.S. Looks like they got some new shirts LOL. Projects look good. I wonder if my old teachers are there. If I remember their names were Spraklin and Goreman.

Really impressive stuff. I love the Austin coupe! Coincidentally, I saw a restored Bantam coupe on a trailer this afternoon.

Love that 53 chevy. The top really flows nice super job! alot of those chevys just dont have "the look" but that is just right. Its too bad they didnt have schools like wyotech 40 years ago, when I was a young buck. I might have actually learned something useful. I have been a "mechanic" for 40 years and I still learn things as you get older you realise that life is a learning process.
