i cant make a folder that has just coe pictures that will post up here without posting up all the pictures in the photobucket account that i have. i will go back and read the directions given to other hambers about how to upload and maybe i will get this thing licked before the superbowl is over
i figured out how to upload pictures but sorry to the hamb gods for wasting space with no link. but i am trying to please the m***es with visual stimulation
Thanks. I am pretty excited to get it running so i can drive it. For those of you who dont know why its so bright outside, its because in my part ofthe world we have this giant ball of fire in the sky called a sun.
Steve, WOW thats a nice cab to start with. Do you have a direction you are going with it? Resto or a ch***is swap? I sure wished my cab was this nice. -Donn-
I was told it was a d.o.t. vehicle in tucson when it was new, or something along those lines. So it has been an Arizona native. I tried buying this truck last year before thanksgiving and obviously persistance paid off. Thanks for the help mother trucker. I plan to keep it as original as possible, but safe enough to be on todays roads. I have a 235 and a sm420 that i was planning to use. I also have a 350/400 combo that may be more reasonable to use.
Here are the pictures of when I pulled this truck off the farm..... Years ago. It was a ***** gettin' that water tank off 'cause it had a bee nest in it. I kinda miss it but looks like you are gonna do more with it than I ever did.
Are those the same pictures from the negative i got from Jason? I went to walgreens to get it developed but they cant do the 110 film anymore. I am leaning towards the 350/400 combo mainly because i dont know where to locate that crazy carb and intake for these cab overs. I crawled under mine yesterday and seen that set up and then i almost flipped out at how it looks.
Great looking truck, for me half the fun is finding the truck then bringing it home, congrats I'm jealous!!
I got the floor panels off but cant get the center one off. Looks like a job for the grinder. I am planning to attempt to work on it again tomorrow, but not 100% sure if i will make it down this weekend. I have to work tomorrow and do a bit of running around. Am i keeping the radiator or do you want it back also? Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I love this truck. Makes it better that its the first year of this series same as my 1/2 ton.
You been awfull quiet lately. Last I heard you said you would.... " have the motor out in 3 days ". Welcome to the world of COE delays.
Delays more because i have bwen working alot. Just got a patio built for a neighbor, shingles got delivered for my house, neighbor 2 doors down is getting a new roof soon from me, and i have been doing drywall repairs for an ac company, also i had a job out in maricopa to do. I have not done much to the coe like i wanted. Maybe i will set aside a weekend and get it out sooner than later.
