Thanks. I am pretty excited to get it running so i can drive it. For those of you who dont know why its so bright outside, its because in my part ofthe world we have this giant ball of fire in the sky called a sun.

I was told it was a d.o.t. vehicle in tucson when it was new, or something along those lines. So it has been an Arizona native. I tried buying this truck last year before thanksgiving and obviously persistance paid off. Thanks for the help mother trucker.

I plan to keep it as original as possible, but safe enough to be on todays roads. I have a 235 and a sm420 that i was planning to use. I also have a 350/400 combo that may be more reasonable to use.

  11. Here are the pictures of when I pulled this truck off the farm.....
    Years ago.

It was a ***** gettin' that water tank off 'cause it had a bee nest in it.

I kinda miss it but looks like you are gonna do more with it than I ever did.

Are those the same pictures from the negative i got from Jason? I went to walgreens to get it developed but they cant do the 110 film anymore.

I am leaning towards the 350/400 combo mainly because i dont know where to locate that crazy carb and intake for these cab overs. I crawled under mine yesterday and seen that set up and then i almost flipped out at how it looks.

I got the floor panels off but cant get the center one off. Looks like a job for the grinder. I am planning to attempt to work on it again tomorrow, but not 100% sure if i will make it down this weekend. I have to work tomorrow and do a bit of running around. Am i keeping the radiator or do you want it back also?

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I love this truck. Makes it better that its the first year of this series same as my 1/2 ton.

  16. The radiator is yours.

I bet you are finding out they are a PITA to do engine work on.
