    Hey guys,
Checking in as a new owner of a 1954 Crestline Sedan. Here's a few pictures. Very little cancer, floors are solid. Its currently not running, been sitting for a few years. Not sure if I want to stick with the y-block and ford-o-matic, or if i'm going to trade up to a 302/351/AOD combo. I'll snag some more pics as I can.

  5. hey welcome along . '54 looks great , I'd give it a birthday (lube, plugs wires, brakes etc) and then just drive it - we all need a 'favorite ol pair o boots' !

bottleneck, Like the 54. My 55 has the Y block as well and am keeping it 6 volt. Ive found quite a few people into the Y blocks and simple hop ups like 4-V manifolds to gain a couple of hp.

I'm definately going to try and stick with the combo thats in it, I just have no history on it. The car hasn't run in 6 years from what i'm told. I'm going to see if I can get it running this weekend. Got the plugs out and the marvels in it right now.
