COE 60 white coe

Just got back from the spring nationals(scottsdale) first run with the truck, it was so cool to finally ride in this beast. mercmandan.

 

I love this truck. I gotta ask ........... What did you do about the steering? Are you using the stock steering gear or?

It's a p30 gm ch***is from 1 ton step van,motor home suspension.I had to reverse the steering, pitman arm was on top (original) I had to mount it bottom so had to reverse it with a hub. Cut the crossmember and added almost a foot to get the wheels to set in the wheelwells,alot of gd work.

 

Wow a lot of work. I had a 53 3000 series White and thought for months how I would do the steering. I ended up selling it (regretfully) and buying my Chevy COE. You have a better way than I could have done. Can you flip the cab with the sleeper on?

impossible with the sleeper,and too much weight. Besides I would forget something inside the cab if could tilt it and my luck it would end hittin the windshield.

 

Where is the engine located?

 

Between the sleeper and bed right now but i still need to extend it to the back of the sleeper.Engine and ****** out of a 92 dodge 1 ton (***mins and od).
