Anyone see the Today show this morning? They were showing tornado damage in Wisconsin I think and showed a gas station that was destroyed and a building in the background that was ripped apart. Where the building once stood was a '56 or so Crown Vic peach/white that looked pretty nice and may have escaped major damage. Pray for those folks up there as they got hit pretty hard and more storms rolling through this afternoon.
Here's a link to the broadcast. It shows the Vicky at about 15 seconds and again at the end of the clip, and yes they did get hit pretty hard and they do need our thoughts and prayers. http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/26184891/vp/42530710#42530710
Yeah we got hit pretty hard up here yesterday. The big stuff just missed us here, but watching the local news now I am able to see the damage around the state. I hope that Ford made it out un****hed-the owner will at least be able to do some cruising to take his mind off of his troubles.
That report repeated again tonight on the 6:30 news. Amazing that the car survived a****st all the damage. I hope everyone is okay over there! We dodged that bad storms here in southern lower MI but it was plenty windy and we lost our power for much of the day Sunday. We were lucky.
Yep, I saw that Ford on the NBC Nightly News and the reporter was standing about 6 feet away from it in the front. The only "damage" that I could see was that the p***enger side headlight bezel was off- and who knows if that was like that before the storm. Very nice to see that despite all of the other damage to their property, one of their heirlooms survived. Hope they get back on their feet soon.
that is flat out amazing! almost looks like the tornado went through, tore everything out, and then somebody in a 56 Ford just parked there to take a look at it at all...hope everyone is ok..
Awesome, I saw that on the evening news too. I said something to my wife about the headlight ring, she said I should be happy the car is still there.
Sad to see all that damage that no one can stop ! All those people lost everything in a minute . I have seen funnel clouds and straight line winds right over our house a few times and twisters have hit as close as 1/4 mile from my house . The bad thing is , most people don't have tornado insurance ! They used to only be in the twister belt area but seems like they are popping up in places they never have been before . You just never know when it's your time or your number has come up . Jim
