I happen to know that the gl*** is plastic and their are plenty of steel parts.
I am just glad that the body was gl***, we lifted it on and off about 800 times.

That's my point. I have had people walk up to the copper bucket and look around.. Then they ask if it is steel....If a car has the look..and it is done right..it doesn't matter...I probably wouldn't paint it with the fake rusty patina paint though....EVILT

One of my favorite buckets for sure. Don't know any "its gotta be steel" guys that would mind driving that. I believe its not in the materials, its the end result that counts

I really want to build a cool bucket sometime soon. Even more so since it looks like I'll never afford a 32' anything in my lifetime

Doesn't matter that it's gl***. This car served as inspiration for my build of the Peter Beater.

A friend of mine get's all wound up about this subject, he said if it ain't steel it ain't a real Hot Rod ( he has a 47 Hudson 4 door and tells everyone "it's all steel!") so I asked him if a Hot Rod built out of a new Brookville Body was more of a real Hot Rod than a "Gl***" 32 Highboy that has been out killing bugs for the last 25-30 years ?,....... he just looked at me and never did answer,...... here is a example of all three so you can see the diffrence
