today I pulled the body off the stock ch***is,
cut the floor out of it
and sat it over the new but incomplete frame

this will help to determine ride height, rake, postion of rear cross member, steering, motor and transmission location, ladder bars... pretty much everything  :)

I'm real pleased with the way it's looking, it's exactly how I envisioned it, channeled but not chopped, fenderless, and motor is going to be ***s!

    60's Style :D

If that's a Weiand 4-71 blower setup and manifold...I'm all over it...had one. Glad you're not gonna chop it.

  5. You know, I select very carefully which threads I read, as to not spend all of my existence on the HAMB (just about 45% of it:rolleyes: )

I saw hte ***le and thought another mockup.. skip.. oh wait, who's the author :D

    you don't disappoint sir

Who doesn't like some mock-up pics, especially when it looks good. Anymore unchopped cars look crazier then chopped cars, you get so used to seeing them. Nice work

looks great paul, are you using a stock 32/33/34 axle? or is there a slight drop on it?

Thanks Paul, it all looks great.

I'd like to see some detailed photos and read your tech text on how you approach the channel job.

We west coast guys have done a few chops in our day but still would like to do a channel job before I'm done.

    Thanks again.

Damn Paul that looks *****in... Hopefully when I get home I will get a chance to make it over to see the progress. My body is over at Ryans getting things smoothed out. I am hoping to get the buick back together this next time I am home so I can start working on the hot rod in the garage instead of my storage.
