Saw this on the main board, http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=586921 front disc brake conversion from Scarebird here on the hamb.
For 52-56 Fords, about $175. Not sure what is included. Here's his website.

Looks like it's just for the brackets. you supply the rotors and calipers, but he does tell you which ones you need. Here's an eBay link for his setup. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Just bolted them on and they fit nice. Word of warning here: if you get your kit and it calls for 1990 Celebrity calipers they won't fit. Mark says instead to use 88-91 small footprint 1500 calipers and all future kits will state this. Also with this kit you'll need access to a machine shop that has a lathe with a 12" minimum swing to grind down the rotors hub if your planning to use the stock rims. On this year of kit it means that you'll have to remove a half inch of cir***ference which is a 1/4" of wall thickness. From O'reilly the parts needed cost $404....

    Stock 15" rims. I don't think 14" would fit.

I see that you have to modify if you intend on using the stock 15" wheels, what if you use aftermarket 16" wheels? Are there other issues that would keep one from using those?

Depends on what the diameter of the center hole on the 16" rims is. The rotors had to be machined down so that the stock rims would fit over them.

I used re-worked granada spindles from a company called dropem stopem (or something similar. ) They have been on the car since '98 using a dual res. master from a granada without a booster. Seem to work great and also gave me a 2' drop.

Well just to let you know the scarebird way of doing things will not allow stock 15" rims. We tried a 1/4" wheel shim and it still rubs on the caliper. I was lead to believe all would be good and now $540 bucks later....

I think they are lincoln rotors with small footprint chevy 1500 calipers. Seems that you'll need 16s or a inch to inch and a half spacers, which I don't trust.

Well when **** Cohen(sp) owned it, the product and tech was excellent, but heard that he died and someone else has taken over. No info on them now.

oh i think i remember the kit now. it uses slip on rotors over the original hubs right? . i think those rotors are 12 or 13inch rotors. yea you would need 16 inch wheels to clear them.

11" inch rotors. The stock rims will fit over the rotors and calipers but will rub where the slots fold back and rivit the center to the rim. We are going to use 15" Wheel Vintques smoothy style rim that will still accept the stock hubcap.
