For my Merc I selected a 1954 Chevy Bel-Air wheel which I adapted to the '72 Chevy pickup tilt column which was already in the car when I got it. It's got a period-perfect semi-artdeco look that fits well with the original dash and bench seat.

I've not made my final decision yet, but I'm leaning towards all white (ivory) naugahyde in the original Mercury pattern for the interior, so the dash and wheel will be white as well. All the interior moldings, window frames, etc. are chromed.

Speedway has a line of 15" wheels that are flat with no dish which is what you want in a 52-54 Ford and come in several colors around $50-$60

I was using the stock one in my 55 Fairlane but am using a 3 spoke black older 15" one right now . I really would like a old 3 spoke solid white , a red metal flake or blue metal flake but the nice black one works just fine right now .
