1952-59 Ford 5 litre in a 55 Ford

    Need help. after installing serptine belted 302, have a problem finding a lower rad hose that will hook up to the original 55 ford rad. Has anyone info that will help, thanks

    Pictures would really help.

    Some people use tubing and rubber radiater hose on either end, maybe you have seen the guys with the flathead Fords that have two chrome tubes between the cylinder heads and the rad. connected with a few short rubber bends.

    I've even seen guys use copper tubing with 45 or 90 degree bends soldered in to route the tube where they need it, again connected on either end with rubber.

    I just used a flex hose on the bottom. Gates has a great selection. O'reillys carries them.

    From Autozone try a Dayco E70729,it should be close it is preformed but has a little extra length you can trim if needed.
