1952-59 Ford Help 1955 idler arm

I figured how to remove the idler arm, now I can't figure how to put the stupid thing back together.
I got it started but, I don't remember this coming apart.....

Any help guys? Thanks.

 

it can only go on one way.. thread it on to the drag link first..then thread the bracket onto the idler arm

 

When i did mine i found a website that explained it pretty well. i will find it. but until then, like the previous guy said, thread it into the bracket first, then onto the shaft. i did mine on the bench off of the car. was easier that way. just make sure that its not too tight on the bracket, otherwise when you operate the steering one way it will tighten up...not good... i will look for the site.

I'm sure I will do the same. I did that with the bushings for my front suspension.

 

I was stupid and had my head jammed up my ***. It will only go on one way. Dah.........
Imbar***ed to say, the ol' lady convinced me to try it the right way. Okay, she won that one.
