Gee Whiz! I have a brand new 50 page OFFENHAUSER AUTOMTIVE PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS complete catalog that was mailed to me by Fred C.Offenhauser Jr. Jan. 17. 1992. Cover is turquoise with red lettering. It came with a cover letter from Fred, the price sheet and an OFFY decal.

Seems like this is the latest listed catalog anybody posted. I called Kinko's and the cost to scan the 50 pages (*2 front and back) would be $9.95 per page convetred to PDF and copied on a CD. Look's like their cost would be around a grand.

Advantage of PDF would be it could be e-mailed to everyone (for a charge) and the receiver could keep in their 'puter or print out a hard copy.

Either way I would be happy to pay a fee for any type of copy ;)

OK, here's where I'm at. I've got adobe acrobat professional version. I need to sit down and scan the catalog and convert it to pdf. But before I can post it to the web, mail cd's or hard copies, I need to contact Offenhauser to make sure I'm not stepping on anyones toes. I don't want to loose my account:eek: ! If that happened I couldn't give you all great deals. Offenhauser will be closed from today until after the first, so I guess I'll talk to them then and get the OK. Keep the post and PM's coming! I'm making a list and checkin' it twice.... (lame Christmas humor):D

I guess if you did it without their approval you'd be naughty and not nice :D

Happy holidays and keep the humor :p

If you could burn to a disk we could be responsible for our own printing. If you are going to reprint it I would like to buy a copy
    Thanks

  15. Hey - count me in . . . I don't mind paying a reasonable fee to help out. I've liked some of the Offy products over the years . . . just never easy to do business with.

I haven't got a clear answer from Offenhauser yet. But I am done scanning the catalog. I didn't think scanning 50+ pages would take that long! Anyway, I may have answer Monday. I'll let you know.

I'd like a PDF version as well. FYI, I scan docs for a living. If you guys have something that you want scanned, let me know. Book-style stuff is a PITA, but if you can cut it in half at the fold of the catalog, it makes it 100 times easier to put in a multipage scanner.

if you need help getting electronic copies out to HAMBers who want one, let me know. got a high-speed connection, and Gmail don't care about the size of the file it sends...

for that matter, if anyone should have trouble receiving large files like this one more than likely is going to be, shoot me a PM with your current email addy and i can send you an "invite" to get a Gmail account. Gmail is great! i hate pimpin products or services on here, but this service kicks ***!
free service, spam hardly ever makes it to my in-box (spam goes to a "spam" folder, where the **** gets tossed after 30 days automatically ) easily searchable using google-like interface, and get this. . . 2.8 GIGS of free storage!

anyhow... dmarv lemme know if i can help you getting this email'd out :D
