So last night a buddy of mine and i basically got all the wiring finished on the car. around 1030 we thought, what the hell, lets throw the battery in it and check our work. so we hooked it up, i turned the key to the accesory, and the volt gauge came up like it supposed to. so that made me happy. so then we turned on the lights and checked the brakes, turn signals etc, and they all worked perfectly!!! pretty big confidence booster!! then i thought i would just bump the key to see if the starter engaged, and it sure did!!! didnt try cranking it all the way over, that is coming up on sat once i tie up all the loose ends. but i am on a high from having things work the way they should. so now i need to drain and fill my ******, get a lower radiator hose, fill it with coolant and fire it up and set the timing!!!! im hoping that i can have it running pretty good come sat night!!! be another big saturday for me!!

It's a great feeling when you flip a switch and everything works correctly the first time. Now when you hit the starter, and that motor fires up for the first time, that's a really great feeling. Good work! Paul Selfe.

I am always glad to hear when things are going to plan and works out better than you thought it would ! Isn't it nice to have all new wiring in your car so everything works good ? I am happy for you on the progress you have done so far . You will be driving the car before you know it !
