1952-59 Ford 52/4 ford rear tailpan questions ems automotive

ems automotive ismaking plans for more 52/4 panels for next year, working on plans for the rear tailpan.

what is the intrest for have smoothing out the back of the car by removing the
lic plate bracket and filler hole to give a clean smooth look to the rear of the car.

probally would have to move the filler neck or install a smooth hidden door for gas.

it is pretty easy to make the panels both ways if we know there is a intrest in a smooth panel

Have built 6 1952-1954 fords and have smoothed out the back on all of them 2 moving the filler into the trunk the other 4 making a flush filler door and moving the plate to the bumper on 3 and into the trunk on the last one . All look great with the smooth panel..
