Hey folks, let's use this thread to buy, sell, and trade COE parts and trucks. I'M in need of the hood side trim for my '51 Ford F6 COE. Also could use some running boards.
Anybody have a 41-47 Ford coe grill they want to sell? Also have come up with a way to make SS trim for the same grill if anyone has interest...I will put up some pics when I complete it.
I'd be interested in how to make the stainless trim. I've been thinking of using solid stainless barstock but would be interested in your method. I'm a long way from needing the trim though!
I'm looking for a hood emblem for my 57 chevy LCF. It has to be from a LCF because I know the conventional cab looks about the same but does not fit the shape of the hood. I may also need a grill and front bumper. I sent a guy in Texas money for them but that was a month and a half ago and he has stopped returning my calls and email. They do not have to be form an LCF truck. Any 55-57 chevy 1.5 ton and 2 ton will fit.
Donnda, It was on the stovebolt. He called me tonight after I had tried reaching him for 2 weeks. I guess the not so nice voice mail I left him last night motivated him. My parts are on the way. I have tracking numbers and they should be here on the 21st. He had more excuses than I ever heard before. By looking at the replies to stuff he was selling, he looked like an honest seller and fast shipper. I am just happy I am getting my parts.
Sometimes situations arise that cause delays. Two weeks ago I had 2 people transfer me over $1700 for stuff and then a relative died and I had to delay things. Fortunately both were understanding. The offer to return the $$ until I got things straightened out probably helped ease their concerns.
I agree with you that things come up but it was 45 days since I sent money and he had about 20 excuses. He even once told me he was shipping them the day I talked to him.
Yeah, I have that problem with an EBay purchase I just keep getting excuses as to why the item has not been shipped yet but being a nice guy will let him have another week then off to PayPal I go.
I need the top section of the grille opening for a 1955 Ford C600. This is the piece that holds the tops of the fenders together and forms the top of the grille opening. The hood also rests on this piece when closed. I'll take it in any condition. Thanks. COErod

Fabmancoe, I contacted a guy today who makes fibergl*** repro grill shells and the grills out of stainless. I'll be getting mine through him. Let me know if you're interested. $350 for just the grill,$300 for just the shell.

Anyone looking for AD cabover stuff or a whole one? I have a line on a local one but I'm not sure if its what I want to do. was hoping for an older one.. It's a '52 1 1/2 ton, it's here in the desert so rust is pretty light. As in- bubbles in the p***enger cab corner and a whole the size of a candy bar in the drivers cab corner. Doors close without hanging down, hood is good, etc. i'll try to post a pic here in a minute. Let me know if I can help but hurry cause I'm sure it won't last long.
Well, I added it to my album so if you want to see it go to my profile - it's the 52 coe. I sold the 53 a while back. Oh!- clean ***le for this thing too. hasn't been run since about 93 but drove to where it is back then.
I have a decent Hood, Door Shells and lower grill valence for Ford 1953 to 1955 COE. Here are the pictures. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=705639 open to offers if you need any of these parts. I saved everything that I could from the beast before the guy s****ped it.
