I believe the COE door is the same as a 39 pickup, less the wheel cutout and one hinge location. Otherwise, note" there are two styles of COE doors. One has a mostly solid interior panel (with a 12x12 cover panel in the middle) and the other is cut out near the perimeter.
I have a 1938 Ford pickup door. Yes it is close to the coe door other than the cutout. But both upper and lower hinges are different and both in different locations on the door. If I had the door side coe hinges, I could make it work. I have the cab side hinges. I have found a few of the 1940-1947 Coe drivers doors, but I'm hoping to find a 1938-1939 door within the next 6 months before I got to plan B.
