I may have misplaced the secondary hood latch from my '54 the one held down by the two bolts in the center let me know if you have one.

Hi Alan, Would you happen to have to two springs that go on lower radiator support bolts. They go on the two bolts that hold the radiator support to the frame cross member. I some how misplaced mine when I removed the front end two years ago.

Alan, how about the e-brake handle? or do you know what part I need that keeps the e-brake handle locked when pulled. It's missing some sort of clip I am guessing.

Colombo, you are talking about a a knurled pin that is 5/32" x 15/16". The part number is 2859. If Alan doesn't have one I can look to see if I have an extra this weekend. Also you can order one from either MAC's or Dennis Carpenter.

 

Colombo...the knurled pin only keeps the handle from pulling out all the way so this won't help you. What you need is the pawl and spring ratchet parts # 2786 and 2788. I already sold the emergency brake setup from this car as a complete unit. I checked the two extra handles I have and they are both missing these two parts. Try Ebay for a complete handle so you can get these parts. Alan S. Freeman
