It's time. Found one side was dry and noisy. It's time.

    The part number is 8A-1225.

They're normally sold with the retaining ring, 8A-1144.

    I need two sets.

All leads to reliable sources will surely be appreciated.

Ole Don --- My NAPA store admitted that 99% of their bearings come from OTHER than the USA, and he was unable to help any further.

    Thanks, though, and Happy 2012.

Just a quick check shows that Ford bearing # 8A-1225 cross references as a Timken # 88107A. Auto Zone has a bearing for a 53 as a Timkien #88107AR for $95.99 and the seals cross reference to Timken # 51098 Auto Zone for $3.21. However, Rock Auto has the bearing for $58.79 and the seal for $3.71. Hope that helps.

    Thanks to all who helped.

I found NOS bearings at a place called Miller Obsolete Parts. Nice knowledgeable guy named Mark. Excellent prices.

Richard , thanks for link to the new supplier ! I just book marked him and save that one in my parts folder . Always good to have a supplier of good parts with decent prices that carries parts made in the USA !
I am always happy to deal with them first ! :D

Always keep in mind "Little Dearborn" here in Minneapolis, MN. Very knowledgable guys there, and always seem to have the parts we need for our oldies...
