Do you already have the T5? What year and model is your car? I put one in my '53 Victoria, and it turned out great. You'll get a lot of opinions about the swap here. You can spend a ton of money on expensive parts and pieces, or you can do it for a lot less. In my installation I used: • the stock bellhousing • the stock flywheel • the stock pressure plate • the stock pilot bearing • the stock throwout bearing • the stock clutch linkage • the stock '53 rear transmission mount (modified). You'll need: • a simple adapter plate • a different clutch disk • a different speedometer cable • a new driveshaft and front yoke. The MOST important thing is choose the T5 carefully; there are three basic shifter locations and several different gear sets.
I ran across this website link on the main board with a lot of good info http://www.rowand.net/Shop/Tech/FordFlywheeslAndFlexplates.htm
