when I got my car it didnt have a data plate on it. I have a ***le which has serial numbers, but I dont have the trim, and production codes. After some great feedback from rick55 I am going to get a re-production one made. My problem is that I know through serial numbers it was an 8 cyl(U). 1954 (4). Made in edgewater, nj (E) that the body type is a convertible (C) and it was number 176599. I know through stripping car it was light blue. I know I will never an exact data plate, but through much searching I cant find what the actual/available codes were for the trim. Also if everyone will check their serial number to see if it has an E as the 4th number it might help narrow down a date on the production code. i.e someone might have 176598. any help is greatly appreciated

When I pulled apart the heater ***embly to replace the leaking core I found the date stamped in two places "Sept 1954" you might look in there.
