The spring bushings are pressed in the leafs on my 55. I sent mine out to have them redone at a spring shop about ten years ago. The shackle bushings are available from NAPA, or any of the old Ford suppliers. I like MACS.

I found all the rear shackle bushings at NAPA, no one seems to be able to come up with the front pressed in bushings? I guess I'm gonna have to make a solid one or do a bit more web surfing.

You might also check www.energysuspension.com in the universal section, there is a chart that shows you how to measure for them, polyurethane will give you much better handling stability without the sway of a rubber bushing.

I tried the polyurethane bushings in my 54 years ago. They squeeked so bad I took them out and greased them. That didnt work, after a few rides they started to squeek again. After a couple years I tossed them out and put in factory rubber.

I know mine is a 54, but mine were available through napa and worked perfect and were cheap.
