betty, cause she is black (bamalam). shoulda made bamalam my plate insted of transfering my other plates.
Think I'll christen her "Rootie Tootie" sometime this summer, after I decide where (probably on the left lower deck lid corner) and what type of lettering to use.
I put "Bad Luck" on the decklid the day I got her. Just one of my favorite songs. But the couple of times that I have had car troubles in public I get all kinds of **** about the name, AND some guy at a show this summer had it on his car too and we were parked 2 cars away from each other. It will be coming off this spring.
The 55 Fairlane is called "Money Bucket" because it's like having a bucket that I put all my money into ! Jim
"Baby Blue" because of the color and also as a tribute to a song by Gene Vincent I always liked.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOJrvMN0VK0&feature=related From "Hot Rod Gang"
Blue Bomber, a name given to her by a friends wife the day I got her. Mostly I reserve explicit names since she's still a hot mess.
I named my 1st 4 door ******, which is pretty much Spanish for young pros***ute, cuz she was always taking my money. Now that I got rid of that one and got a 2 door, which I call her big sister, the 2 door is now named Lola. Still the same concept as taking my money. lol
"Money Bucket" because it's like having a bucket that I put all my money into ! maybe you should think nautical, because ive heard boats are just holes in water you throw money into.
dwaynerz , I have had a few boats and I have a 16.5' boat now, but I really never had that problem with dumping money into one like I have with my 55 Fairlane ! Actually my wife gave the car it's name and I really like it ! When the car is painted , on the trunk , my wife is going to paint a guy dumping money into a bucket with the name "Money Bucket" ! I am also going to build a 50 Ford g***er hopefully starting next winter and will be called "Loose Change" or possibly another "Money Bucket II" . It's going to be a fun car and build no matter what it's called ! Going to be built like a g***er you would have seen on the drag tracks back in the early 70's . Will have a 1970 Ford 429CJ and 4 speed toploader close ratio with a 4.88 rear . Pure Old Skool all the way ! Picking up a Mustang 9" rear this Sunday before the race for the 50 g***er . Jim
Hey Jim,with that BBF under the hood think you can take down "Rigor Mortis" with that shameful bowtie motor under the hood ?
