I thought I would throw a plug in since my experience so far has been great. I was shopping for all new gl*** for the car. I checked and called everywhere. Some higher than others, some shipping is high, etc.. Found out that many places get there gl*** from one distributor. I called them and they said they used to only sell to companies, not individuals, but now they will sell to the public. They gave me the price, and it was comparable to others. However he said if you have your body shop or gl*** company give me their business info and license stuff, I will give you their price. So my body shop sent them the information over. They even allowed me to do a 1 time purchase using my credit card, but using the body shop for the discount. He said they were about 9 days behind on shipping new orders. I explained my situation with the car being done and I really really needed it now, thats all I am waiting on to bring my car home. He talked to the owner and promised me they would get it out in 2 days for me. Awesome. So I bought a clear front windshield, smoked rear windshield, smoked vents, smoked door gl***, and smoked quarter windows. Whole car purchase gave me an additional 5% off the total as well. The shipping for one windshield was $115. They actually agreed to crate and ship my entire order for the same price. Others added shipping for each additional piece ordered. So the damage for the all gl*** was $724 plus the $115 shipping. Investment I didnt intend on making, but hopefully I will never have to do it again. I called yesterday and they actually shipped the gl*** the same day I ordered (vs. 2 days like he said) and it will be here Monday. If the gl*** is as good as the customer service, I will be thrilled. The gl*** is all tempered as well, which I was not going to get with the body shop gl*** guy cutting new flat gl*** for me.
