1952-59 Ford 302 question

Hey, since I don't run a heater in my car, do I need to run hoses between the heater hose ports, or can I just cap them off. Thanks in advance for any help.

 

Cap them off.

 

cap them so you dont get critters living in there.

You can either cap them off or make a loop in the hose . I have seen both but the caps are much cleaner and easier to use .
