I have 14 inch, mopar 5 bolt rims on the front of my T, the rims where off a dart or a valiant( i think).
I was wondering if there are any mopar 13 inch rims with the same bolt pattern.I have a set of nice 13" tires i'd like to put on the front.

the old dart/valiant has a 4" bolt circle, measure center-center across 2 bolts opposite each other should be a little less than 4".

Should be some 13" wheels for them kicking around somewhere...probably getting a bit hard to find though.

I think the 13 inch rims would have a metric bolt pattern, I'm not totally positive on that. Maybe someone else would know. later shawn

The 6 cyl. cars (Valiants, Barracudas, etc.) had 13s on them. Not sure what years but my old '65 Cuda had them. And I put the 340/4-speed/273 geared rearend in it & once did 150MPH - & it wasn't EVEN wound out! Very scary as it started vibrating badly (I think it was the driveshaft or the 13" front wheels). I kicked it up in neutral & coasted for about three miles untill it got back down to 70 MPH.

The answer is no... 14 inch wheels were 5 on 4.5 inch bolt circle and 13 inch wheels were 5 on 4 inch bolt circle.
Not to mention that the center hole is too small...
There are Ford 13 in with the same 4.5 pattern, but the center hole is too small on them also.

14" wheels were used on 4" bolt circle Darts, we still have the set that came off my wife's 70.

I agree that in general the early cars had 13s, later ones had 14s. But it also depends on what you ordered, the 66 and 68 factory Dart shop manuals list both sizes, the 71 manual only lists 14s.

I'm sure my '71 Demon had 14" wheels but with the small (4") bolt circle on an 8 3/4 rear. 340 *******s had the same thing. I think, but I could be wrong, Formula S Cudas starting in about '65 came with 14" Goodyears, the ones with the blue stripe, blue ovals or something? Damn I've forgotton a lot in the past 40 years. Anyway I think you can find some 4"bc - 13" wheels to fit.

I just checked my 66 dart and it has 4" bolt pattern and has a mix of 13" and 14" rims. I probly have 2 13" that would need to be sandblasted and painted or you can try Halls on Plainfield Pike about 2 miles west of 295. 401-647-3648. They have a bunch of 40's to 70's Mopar stuff.
