Well i have my next project a 53 rag top it is a project that has been left untouched for the last 10 years the first guy had the floors and rear quarters all done real nice job and collected $$$$$ of parts but lost interest. I have been trying to get it for a couple of years but i picked up a 64 ford f100 he fell in love with so a deal was struck. i will pick it up n a couple of weeks and start on it in about a month. pic when i get her home

Sounds like you got a good trade . They are really nice looking cars too with the top down . You have to post some pictures when you get it home .
Good Luck with your new project !

You'll never regret putting your bucks - and time - into a ragtop. Here's a tip: If you ever have a "down day" when you're feeling discouraged and think that it'll never be finished, roll it out into the driveway with the top down, put a milk crate where the driver's seat goes, get behind the steering wheel and make motor sounds. You'll be a new man in seconds...

    Broooom, broooooooooooooom!!!!!

just curious, but dont folks working on convertibles off the frame usually brace the body to prevent "folding" or tweaking from no support? nice start tho, and i will be following your build.

I will enjoy watching your progress. Love to see Sunliners being restored. What color are you thinking? My yellow one is going to become burgandy. Hate the yellow.
