I'd really like to see everybody's car. It appears there's no thread for this, although I've perused the excellent photo album.

What I'd really like is to see the most recent, good overall shot of your '52-'59 Ford.

    I'll start with mine...

    (I don't have one... yet.)

Here is mine before I started to tear into it. Now that I've had it a while, I wish I would have kept it like this for a while longer. Everytime I see it like this, it grows on me.

And with a little photoshop done by Skoh, this is what I'm going for. The top will probably have a panel paint job with some lace. Also, it will have different caps on it.

Here's what my Victoria looked like almost 45 years ago when it was owned by the late Dave Dooley ("Flathead Dools" here on the HAMB). He was 16 or 17 at the time and the Vicky was his first car.

Dave kept the car his entire life with the idea of rebuilding it one last time to the way he'd dreamed it could be when he was a youth. Sadly, he p***ed before he could complete the project.

(My gra***ude goes out to his daughter, Sara, for lending me this photo for my history file on the car...)

Here's what it looked like three years ago when I bought it from (essentially) Dave's estate...

This is pretty much the way it looks today...

And here's the general idea of what it'll look like when it's done...

Eric, that picture of the original owner is priceless! You should print one out and keep it in the car when finished so he can still take a ride in the finished state.

The old 55, on the road again. I 80 westbound, less than two hours to the salt flats. The old girl ran a best on 129.598 last September, in one mile only. This with a 56 year old 312, freshened of course.

Here's my 59' Ranch Wagon. The none white wall tires are of course only a temporary solution due to a little tire incident. Surf's up!

No other better spot on the HAMB to hang out with a "newer" Ford roadster............besides you guys all work on your cars like I do, to keep me happy. The T-bird guys are too quiet for me....

One of the rare times when I have it ***embled enough for two weeks of "testing" - then tear it apart again.....

Ole don: PM Scott (Skoh73) and he'll bring you up to speed on how to post photos on the Social Groups - including this one - using Image Shack. Scott's the official "picture-poster" guru here. It's a little complicated but once you get the hang of it, it's easy!
