    hey i just picked up a 56 parklane, with no engine or ****** and would like to drop a 5.0 with an AOD in her, so i was told this is the place to be. so here I am.

    Welcome and Thank you for your service !! We just pulled a 351 and c-6 out of a parklane and are going back to the Y-block. The 302 or 351 w makes a great swap into a 55-56, very easy to do . Tom

    Welcome from the dry side of Oregon. Have 56 Vic with 351W and C4 fits nice gobs of power/torque 302/351 way to go in my book. Of course I had a 55 Vic in High School with a 390, that was fun, back when gas was cheap of course. A good 312 is hard to beat, many options.
