My name is Greg and I am new to the group. I rebuild and restore cars for a living. I stumbled across a 56 ford earlier this year and have recently started tearing into it with my dad. I'm not sure what style it is. It has a 6cyl 3 on the tree and since it runs and stops good, it will probably stay that way for a while. I'm having trouble finding a radiator. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the group from Abbottstown , pa. !
Early Mustang radiators fit very well in that space . 66/67 seem to be the better ones to get . I have a 55 and I am using a 67 Mustang radiator and cools very well . You will need to look at the 6 cyl & V8 models to see which one will work better since they have different places for the hose connections . They are very easy to find and Ebay has the best prices for them . I would suggest buying an all alum. radiator since they are very cheap .
If you buy a replacement radiator for yours , it will cost you about 2x to 3x the cost of a decent one that fits a Mustang !
    Just a thought .
