Hello All, Been on here a bit and finally getting around to introducing myself. I'm from the San Diego CA area and have a 1953 Customline 4 door with a flathead and fordomatic. For now I'm just looking to get the car back on the road. Currently, I'm working on getting the trany back in the car and will need to go thru brakes as there's a busted wheel cylinder. Thanks for the info and inspiration. This group rocks!

Welcome aboard!!!! Have a great time getting the old girl ready for the road. That, in my opinon, is most of the fun and enjoyment getting them ready to rock. Click on the top of this post crusin55 and see my rides that I've been playing with for years.

Don't forget to stop and smell the roses from time to time!!!!:D

Welcome from North Jersey. Nice to see another Customline Fordor (Mine is a 54).

Wheel cylinders are real cheap, think mine were $10 each or so from Rock Auto

Thank you for the encouragment. We got it on the road but the brakes still need some love. I'm liking the idea of self adjusting brakes.
