Hey, if that stuff works on a '54, it should work on a '52, right? Too bad they don't have anything for the flattie.
When Ford went from kingpins to IFS in 1954 it moved mount positioning a bunch so I doubt they would work on '53 and earlier. Now Flathead headers are out there by Speedway & Red's Headers.
I'm a little confused by that page. It shows on line 1 54-64 Ford P***enger car, but then for engine it's only FEs (actually pretty much the same deal on lines 2&3 too....starts at 1955 but only indicates applicability for FE engines). So I take it these are no good for otherwise stock cars until '58?
found another site for flathead headers for 32/53 fords. also has leaf spring tune up kits whatever that means. im guessing new springs? http://www.butchscoolstuff.com/store/cart.php?m=product_list&c=57
Then there are these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Flathead-4-...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item3cc15c359f if they fit 49-51 they should fit 52-53 Fords.
jeff those headers are for using a flat head in a 32 roadster style frame, not the shoe box fords, and a leafspring tune up kit is just new bushings and spring clamps
The heading says 49-51 Ford Merc probably best to call and confirm, they also sell used parts and have whole parts cars I picked up some parts for my '54 there.
Wow. There's more sites than I guessed for flattie headers...guess more people are still running them than I thought.
