Hey everyone, my name's Ryan and I'm 25 and I live in northeast Oklahoma. I have a car that's been in the family since new, and there's a little history to go with it. I have a 1952 Ford Customline that was purchased new by my great grandparents. The car has remained in the family since then. It has 48,000 miles on it. It has sat for the last 20 years or so and I decided it was my turn with it and didn't want it rotting away. My buddy trailered it to me and I've been tinkering for the last 6 months on it. Thanks to resources such as this forum, etc. I have been able to learn new things, work on the car myself without paying someone to do it for me, and I've managed to get her running and drivable (in the yard so far) for under $150 dollars. The main thing I am going to need to focus on now is the brakes. The most I've done with brakes is bled them on my bronco so I will be doing some research first. I would like to replace at least the wheel cylinders all around for extra peace of mind. Other than that it's basically ready to hit the streets. I figured I better do my intro on here too because I'll probably start jumping in on threads now. Why not add a picture.
Welcome from just down the road in Arcadia, OK! It is great that your car has been in your family that long. Mine was in another family for it's first 55 years. Now, it is my turn to keep it for the next 55 or so...
