Oh I should add that it's possibly for a model A project, but I haven't found a body yet....

From a pure customer service aspect, it is hard to beat Pete and Jakes.

From a cost aspect, I would look into some of the smaller guys around...

I'm in the process of making jigs for a model a frame to sell featuring "the Bleed sweep" and a good Z in the back....

I think they will be around $1000 for a perimeter frame...... a roller will be available as well but, the cost will depend on what parts you want to use.

I'm hoping the first one will be done in a few weeks and then I'll start taking orders.

    ACEHOLES.... punk rods...

    I want a 32 frame. I like So-cal's, but 3K seems steep.

I just called Kiwi, they don't really do the shipping thing.

    What I want is a 32 frame for a 30-31 model A, with a Model A front crossmember, and a buggy spring rear c/m.

The one Kiwi shows on their site in exactly what i want, but...:(

Who else has something else similar to theirs?

On the eastern side of the country would be nice too!:D

    Anyone know?

    Cornhusker.

My first roller was a So Cal...I have some complaints about that one.

    The second is from Cornhusker.

I have already sent two people to them and they were as happy as I have been in dealing with Gary at Cornhusker. They have not taked delivery yet, but I have and my stuff is great.

I think Flat Top Bob used them also IIRC.

I got my frame from H&H speed and machine http://www.hhspeedandmachine.com/ - the guy that owned the place dropped the frame off house. Really nice frame. Really nice folks. I got a pinched 32 frame, with the cross members in, and a bucnh of suspension - rear 4 bar links, front hair pins, brackets for th rear axle, a 8" ford rear end, straight out of the junk yard for around 2800 if I remember right.

Studley's custom fabrication IN M***achusetts is aesome. He can probably build you an amazing ch***is. Does a ****load of Willys work. Did a great ch***is for one of my projects - a 57 Ranchero-he had pretzel to start with- looked like my 8 yr old had started it before Brad got to it.

I've bought about 4 ch***is from Gary at Cornhusker Rod and Custom. With out doubt the best quality I've seen everthing is tig welded and when I take one to a body shop they are always amazed at how little work is needed to finish smoothing them out and making them ready for paint. He understands the old school look or can also do the swoopy street rod style. I've put a lot of miles on his ch***is and they take a hell of a beating and still go straight down the road. He's in Alexandria Ne. 402-749-1932 Good luck!

Thanks Brush.... never thought about Johnsons, but I've heard bad stuff about him putting Mustang II's in crooked etc...

BTW guys I forgot to mention that preferably I'd like something on the northern East coast of the states or anywhere in Canada. Like Jeff said, we get reammed up the **** on brokerage, taxes etc....

Update: Found a lead on a Model A sedan complete less frame from a fellow Hamber in the area for $1500!!! including a dropped I beam!!
