1952-59 Ford '54 with '55 headlight doors

Has anyone ever seen a '54 with '55 headlights on it? I am considering doing this to mine, but would like to see pictures if it has been done before.

 

I have a 53 with what I think are 55 doors, they are pot metal and used to be chrome. I painted them lemonwood yellow to match my car and they really look great.

If the section will fit fairly close , Then take a cut off to the fender and see how it fits . The worst you will have to do is tach weld the old one back in and do some grinding .
Let us know how it turns out .

I am looking for a set of 55 Chev or early 50's Buick head light fender sections to replace the ones on my 55 Fairlane . I have seen this done before and really like the look .

Yeah '55 Chevy fenders/lights look good on lots of cars. The other option might be '55 Olds lights.

That looks pretty good paleot! I'm not sure they are '55 doors though. They just look like they have been shaped nice.
