Sounds like it's your turn for the century + temps! It's been nearly that hot a few times here in southern Michigan this summer. But the forecast this coming weekend is for upper 70s - which should be great cruisin' weather

Phx, az.... Entirely too hot to do anything! 108 as we speak. Supposed to be even higher thru the rest of the week.

Been hot and muggy here in N. Florida. Been in the low to mid 90's but the rain came thru and cooled things down a little. Currently 82 with 97% humidity...weather you can wear.

Was 102 over the weekend in Portland... made for a pretty miserable night's sleep. I was actually looking forward to work on Monday just for some air conditioning. :p

It's been hot here in Louisiana but not quite that hot. But it is humid as hell. I've been working outside everyday trying to knock down to do lists before cruising the coast in Oct. I got the power windows/new vent window rubbers installed yesterday. Also had some fan issues but got that sorted out. I go through about 4 sets of clothes daily with regular jumps in the pool to cool down.

Here in Central Florida it has been in the mid 90's with heat index of 101. Time to park the non-air conditioned rides and get out my old faithful '34 Ford with air.

Click on crusin55 at the top of this post and check my photo albums for all my rides. Temperature determines which ride I take out and go crusin'.

Stay cool and stop to smell the Roses once in awhile.

tomorrow is only supposed to get a high of 81 . havent seen a high like that since march. we had a very early dry spring, and an even earlier hot and dry summer. thank god the humidity was low.

it was 115 a few weeks ago here when I was on foot patrol, but then again thats a mild summer for Afghanistan. I think high 90's this past week so its cooling off weather wise.

FINALLY some relief here for the last 2 days - cool (only about 65 today) & rainy and boy did we need it! Hoping it stays cool over the weekend, maybe I'll get the next year's project out of the barn and start cleaning it out & put a 'want list' together before heading east in October - and hoping to make it to Hershey for the 1st time

This is what we're looking at, it's midnight as this is taken. It's actually cooled down a little.

The heat finally broke here in eastern Kansas. Has gone from highs in the 100s to low 90s. Now to get some rain.

i am guaranteeing we will get rain here as im busy now taking all bugs/tar off the truck, waxing/detailing in and out. sorry all you farmers, i should have done this months ago. a freind of mine did the same to his truck, he is very meticulous about appearence, and he used nearly 4 cans to get all the tar off that has been thrown up on his truck. the heat really cooks oil and chip roads.

this morning at 8 it was a very comfortable 63 degrees.

That's a little to warm for me for sure !
Here in southern Pa., it's been the hottest I can remember for a very long time . We have been in the mid to upper 90's with dew points in the low 70's . It's been very sticky all summer this year . Been drier than usual as well .
Now we did get a front come through yesterday with rain and heavy rain last night and cooled things down today . We have a beautiful breeze and I slept with the window open wide last night under a thin sheet . Yea it was into the 60's last night but will be back up into the 90's again next week .
Been a really bad summer all over for high heat and the mid west with no rain . My sister lives outside Dallas , TX and she said it has been awful down there this year as well .
It will be getting cooler here in a few months but I hope we have another very mild winter again .

on the plus side, with the lake and rivers getting shallower, the fishing has never been better ;)

I was out on my local lake in my boat Wed and the surface water temp was 85 ! Fish don't like that at all either . They are all down in 40' to 60" right now and getting harder to catch . I do get my share everytime I do go out ! I have been fishing the same lake for the past 27+ years now .
