Jeff, I think this is the link you wanted. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=724588
I resized that picture and it's about a 4" x 1" rust HOLE in the roof ! I still think that car is a steal for the price . That rusted spot can be cut out , a new piece made & welded in . Then grind it down and shoot some primmer on it and away you go ! Jim
Either way you look at it , I think it's a steal if it runs good . Look pretty good from the pictures but might have 5 gallons of filler in those rockers and quarters too ! I had maybe 2 gallons or so in mine just on the drivers side along . YES I have pictures !! I am just to damn scared to look into the p***engers side since it looks good close up . I am having to make a lot of sheet metal parts for mine since it's a fordor . The dog leg is the real problem but I am just making mine the best I can . A good grinder and a welder can make anything ! Jim
Originally being a northerner it is amazing how cars in the south will have rust on the roof instead of below. Leaves will pile up on top and stay wet for ever rusting out all kinds of crazy areas in a car. Up north it is all fenders, rocker and quarters.
