COE 38-39 Ford COE Grille Trim join covers

Hi Guys
I am in the process of fitting my 39 Ford COE Grille Trim, I just have the two side pieces, does anyone know what the pieces look like that cover the side pieces where they join, a close up pic would be great.

Mine didn't have any but i think they overlay each side at the joint about 3/4 of a inch. i picked up a piece of stainless from a 47 ford and am going to make them, or at least try. yes some pics would be nice.

I have some s**** stainless in the shop and will try and make some out of that will post pics if I am successfull ok.
