1952-59 Ford Oops

    I took out my rear window regulators last week and they were all rusted and very hard to get out. A friend gave me some rust eater/inhibitor chemical awhile back so I soaked the ends and small parts in it. Overnight it removes all the rust and leaves a black coating in it's place. It worked so well I decided to soak the whole regulator because I couldn't get into the middle areas to clean. I guess the springs were so rusted in spots that it ate right through them. lol

    The whole ***y was rusted and it worked really good to get in everywhere.

    Were do you get that stuff ? Looks like it done a good job.

    I got it from a friend of mine that used to work at Balmar. It's on the label in the picture. I'll see if I can find out where to buy it.
