I've come across a ford 390 from a 65 t-bird with a cruisomatic that I was hoping to swap into my 1955 customline. I've heard that I can just use my motor mounts flipped around but I need to know what else would need to be done. What transmission mounts can I use? Do I need to cut down the driveshaft? Will I have issues clearing the fan to the radiator? What am I missing? Thanks for the help!

I have a 390 with a c6 in my 53 I can take pics on all the mounts if you'd like? I didn't do it but maybe you can get some info from the pics. Let me know if you want them
