my father in law has three 17 '' 5 lug 1935 chevy artillary wheels . what are these worth ?.... pretty nice shape . he may sell em and i don't want him to sell too cheap OR ask way too much .... shit i may even try to get them from him for a future project .... also is a stock 35 chevy front axle worth anything ? thanks in advance , donnie
1936 Standard is the only year/model Chev to use this wheel - '33-5 Std. uses 17'' wire. Also, lug pattern is 5 on 4 1/4'', so they won't fit the 5 lug Chevy pattern hubs or drums as is... 302
You cant give them away out here, Ive seen nice ones go back home with only $25 asking. OTOH, the 17" 5 lug MOPARS and independents bring $50 or more at times. Lots of that style wheels around here from old trailers and farm wagons, the 16" were used on factory built trailers well into the 50's.. These 17" were a freebie.
I found a 16 inch wheel in a pile of 40 wheels that I found. I think that a set of those powdercoated black with black wall tires would look KOOL. The one I have is 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern. If the 17's you have are that pattern I might be interested in your wheels. I would trade some 40 wheels. I have a 4.5 left and 2 5.5's. I have no idea on value, but I have no taste and those wheels are bitchen so they must be cheap. Let me know donnie Rodger
