    Going to install a 351W & AOD.
Engine will be high compression (10 to 1).

Flexplates come in 157 or 164 teeth. Does it make a difference?

Also, engine will be "0" balanced. Do I need a special flexplate?

    Thanks

I'm pretty sure all AOD flexplates were 164 tooth.

The way I always understood it was 157 tooth fits the small bellhousing C4 and the 164 tooth was for the large bellhousing c4 and the AOD.

If I were you I would be getting it from the same engine builder so it is balanced properly with their ***y. This will eliminate any confusion.
