Who has a reliable source for antique hot rod carbs and intakes. They can be repops or the real thing. I am looking for selection and a reliable deal. Offy strombergs etc.
we had to replace a trio of 2cg's the day before the round up last year(vintage speed and fire starting equipment strikes again) located a place called bfic in cali. thier web address iswww.carbsonly.com. beautiful carbs, got 'em overnight, worked perfectly, and they were around a third of V.S.'s price. Nice stuff. threw them on, fired up the car, set the idle and I haven't seen the car since. (although I have gotten a few phone calls from the road to tell me how bad *** the car is running. ) nice fellas. I think they cast thier own bodies and such,also. I would use them again.
****ster here on the HAMB does this full time. Nothing but wild vintage setups...3x2, 4x2, 6x2, 8x2, stromberg, rochester, Carter, dual quads...whatever. He's built a lot of stuff for me and it's all been awesome.
