Putting it into my 54 customline I found some of the linkage may be missing and it looks like it should be wire controlled? I can not see any neutral safety switch either, where should it be mounted? Any pictures or drawings would be helpfull!

I have a 53 Customline, My fordomatic has a neutral safety switch mounted on the steering column under the hood.My trans had two linkages, one to shift one to kick down for p***. I have the kick down linkage if you need it, You can have the whole trans if you want it. Complete from flex plate to front yoke.

Mounts to the lower part of steering column I have a 54 switch and bracket send me an e mail and I'll send picks. gerynviv@pacbell.net Consider a 56 up bracket with a 58 switch, I don't have those but car will start in park and neutral. Gerry

Paleot; I'm afraid the linkage may be different on the y-block and the flathead?
