Who's got pics of the 1934 Moneyham/Sharp Euel Coupe. I would like to see some suspension shots if ya have them. I have a evil scheme brewing in my mind and need to get me some ideas. Let see other badass 5 windows as well please. Thanks
These may help. I have a few more pics of the M&S #554 at home. Will look tonight. If you need some more pictures of fuel coupe-style cars, let me know.
In order to go fast the 15oz Coupe had the front and rear mounted rigid. This was in the current version. With the buggy spring suspension it was far too scary, all over the track. If you are contemplating a track only car, I think that's the ticket. Jim Kirby in California did the chassis work. Good luck and keep us up to date on your project. cp
even if your not building one ...you need the book ....as well as the gasser book .....hell you might as well get all of his books.....lots of cool stuff in them .....hah brandon
There has always been something migical about the 554 Coupe, finally got to see it in Ocala at the Garlits Museum. This photo is from the July 30, 1965 issue of Eastern Drag News. Photo caption reads "The K&G Speed Associates from Havertown, Pa. has Bob Keogh driving the former Fuel Altered from California. Handling problems prevented bob from making an all out run. "
curbspeed, looks like you're about as far away from the coupe as you can get being from Wa. As 37 said it's in Big's museum. I'd bet Big Daddy would send pics if you ask real nice. His museum would be worth a trip to Fl., too.
Re: Pictures of the Mooneyham & Sharp 554 34 Ford coupe? We owned the car for a short while after mooneyham and sharp. we bought it from emit white. the car was amazing. wish we still had it. it weighed 2300 pounds. You can see more pictures at nvfatman.ne1.net We raced under Freeman & Sons
The two pictures above where our only pictures we had of 554. I have a site with all the pictures that I could find on the net. and gave reference to each picture. my site is nvfatman.ne1.net. Al Freeman
